Time has wings. It flies!
Four months ago, my journey to becoming an Orange Mind began with my enrollment into the school. Orange Academy is the school; Africa's premier practical school of branding and Kenny Brandmuse is the rebellious founder. The Academy boasts of a highly credible team of star-studded faculty including but not limited to Franklin Ozekhome, Tomi Ogunlesi, Idiare Atimomo, Olaolu Ogundeji, Lampe Omoyele, Tunde Phoster just to mention a few, Orange Academy is the birth place of Magicians and storytellers. In Orange, nothing but epic is allowed. Orange Academy is located at 3B Adesoye Close, Mende Maryland, Lagos, Nigeria.



A healthy dose of FEAR and PRIDE.
This is the daily dose of the Orange mind. In Orange, these two (Fear and Pride) constitute our own Hippocratic Oath. Every work is weighed-in on a very high scale. Nothing below extraordinary is permitted here. Its either epic or nothing. The atmosphere in Orange doesn't permit mediocrity. A satisfied soul is not welcome. It is a club only for those who are alien to settling. All day long, folks in Orange are pushing the envelope.



Talk of mythology and symbols
Marty Neumeire's best selling book Metaskills was based on skills that are crucial in robotic age; the next productivity era. He identified five of such skills that necessary to be relevant in the coming age of singularity. The book began with an analogy of an early man cave somewhere in Paris. This cave foremost for its beautiful paintings adorned within its walls was done at by the early man using the most basic technology; the hand. It is a book worth reading. Aspersions nor pun intended but every normal human palm contains five fingers. In Africa-Yoruba mythology, there is more to the human palm. It is believed that the lines on the human palm is a compass that speaks to the destiny of man. The future of a new born baby was foretold by examining the palm of such new-born; the lines on it. In the last lecture of the 2013 IBX 10 stream, Kenny Brandmuse (a man who is everything except mere mortal) took us on a roller coaster. One thing is sure and that is that every finger on your palm means something. Symbols are the motifs that bring a story to life. Such is the wisdom by which things are done in Orange.



Know TRUTH. Make BEAUTY. Do GOOD.
A gentleman of my acquittance did urge me sometime ago to make sure that my life is dedicated to three things. Knowing the TRUTH, making BEAUTY and doing GOOD. Through the Orange Experience, I assert that I now know where the magic is. On beauty, I have begun on a good note and on the subject of goodness, the road-map is clear. Its now on to the next big thing.

This piece does not intend to vilify the character; Bozo the clown. Bozo the clown was a character that was played by the trio of Lawrence Weiss, Robert Lewis Bell and Vance DeBar "Pinto" Colvig at different times. Here's to the crazy ones... I am having the time of my life at Orange Academy ; Africa's foremost practical school of Idea and Brand Management. At Orange, nothing is predictable. From the legendary notoriously peppered rice called " The Bit** " to lecture rooms under witty code names, Orange Academy is not for regular homo sapiens. Creativity is the hallmark of this place. A visit to Orange is sure to leave you with an indelible impression. Conformity is a sin here. The school was founded by Kehinde Bademosi A.K.A "Kenny Brandmuse" who is the Chief Imagination Officer. Aluta Continua!! Victoria Asserta!!

Events in the last few days are interesting to say the least. Who says Nigerians cannot stand their ground? If there was any doubting Thomas, i encourage you to take a trip to the Gani Fawehinmi Memorial Park at Ojota in Lagos. There you will see a community of valiant protesters who have decided to clamp down on the inhumane government policy. These are really interesting times. The Nigerian masses have shown great solidarity by making their voices count. The strike action against the removal of subsidy by the federal government which started on Monday continues indefinitely. The 4 DAY stand down (Monday till now) is so far the longest national strike action in the history of this country and i'm glad to be alive in these times. Nigerians have defiled the inconveniences to communicate their dissatisfaction to the government of the day which apparently has defiled the words of reason. This is shameful and belligerent.
