Identity crisis is the greatest crisis. Talking of Identity crisis, the Church has reduced herself to a mere religious sect. This is an aberration to God's kingdom mandate. Institutional Christianity has failed God in the way we parade ourselves as bunch of religious entities. JESUS was not crucified because of the miracles he performed nor the crusades HE championed. HE was crucified based on HIS declaration as a KING.


Those who understand legal jurisprudence will enlighten you that the charge against JESUS was a case of treason. This changes everything. Christianity is about the KINGDOM which is a system of government based on kingdom principles. The Church (Ekklesia, also meaning STATE) is God's platform for rulership. We are citizens of God's kingdom. Our constitution is the word of God.


What Jesus's death and resurrection means for us is that we have been conferred with our lost status. The implication of Jesus's resurrection is that we have been restored to the prior state we were in the beginning. With this status comes a new order of living. I beseech you that you ask the Holy Spirit to enlighten your heart on this mystery. It is a slap on grace for you to still struggle with the things you struggled with before accepting Him as your personal Lord and Saviour.


I dare to say that Jesus's trial wasn't religious. His trial was very political. It wasn't the religious people that sentenced Him. This insight changes everything. The essential mandate is that we rule on His behalf. Rulership is our birthright. It is our destiny.

Events in the last few days are interesting to say the least. Who says Nigerians cannot stand their ground? If there was any doubting Thomas, i encourage you to take a trip to the Gani Fawehinmi Memorial Park at Ojota in Lagos. There you will see a community of valiant protesters who have decided to clamp down on the inhumane government policy. These are really interesting times. The Nigerian masses have shown great solidarity by making their voices count. The strike action against the removal of subsidy by the federal government which started on Monday continues indefinitely. The 4 DAY stand down (Monday till now) is so far the longest national strike action in the history of this country and i'm glad to be alive in these times. Nigerians have defiled the inconveniences to communicate their dissatisfaction to the government of the day which apparently has defiled the words of reason. This is shameful and belligerent.
